CLEANING FEES
All renters are required to leave the facility in the same condition in which it was found. Clean up must be done immediately following your event. An additional minimum fee of $100 will be assessed for additional cleaning that is required due to the failure of the reserving party to thoroughly clean areas after use. All trash barrels must be emptied and replaced with new bags (provided by Sandlot). Full trash bags should be placed in trash container across from the parking area.
DAMAGE, ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES
All damage, accidents or injuries should be reported to Sandlot within 24 hrs.
All damage no matter how minor is the responsibility of the renter.
Sandlot reserves the right to obtain a quote for repair of damages and bill the renter accordingly.
Sandlot is not responsible for personal property/money or for the safety of any property
brought onto the premises.
No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere inside the building per RSA 155:64-77.
Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas only.
Trash is the responsibility of the renter. Trash shall be emptied and bags replaced.
Trash should be placed in the trash container across from the parking lot.
The facility shall be left in a clean and orderly condition.
Occupancy is limited by firecode to 127 seated guests.
Tacks, pins, nails, staples, glue, duct tape or similar items are not allowed on the walls.
All decorations must be removed at the end of your event.
No open flames are allowed except celebratory candles ie. birthday candles on cake.
No dogs or pets are allowed with the exception of service dogs only.
This is a ADA accessible facility.
FEES
Payment of all rental fees must be made with the rental agreement. Sandlot reserves the right to waive any fees. Rentals are for a minimum of 5 hrs. Additional hrs of use will be at an hourly rate of $100 per hour.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A full refund will be given if Sandlot receives a minimum 14 day cancellation notice prior to
the event.
A 50% refund will be returned if the event is canceled with a 7 to 13 day notice.
No refund will be returned if the event is canceled with less then 7 day notice.
Sandlot reserves the right to cancel a function at any time, even when in progress, should you or any of your guests violate any terms of this agreement.
Sandlot reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event without notice due to unforeseen emergencies. If the event cannot be rescheduled, a full refund will be given.
CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY INSURANCE
A certificate of Insurance Liability in the amount of $1,000,00.00 is required for all events held at Sandlot, with Sandlot Sports Enterprises, LLC named as an additional insured. For events at which alcohol is present, Alcohol Liability must also be provided. The certificate of Insurance Liability can be obtained through your own insurance company, perhaps at no cost. If your homeowner’s policy is not sufficient, you can purchase liability insurance online at www.eventsured.com at a reasonable rate.

In the spring of 2022, the Mencis family decided that our Sandlot Summer Camp program needed an indoor facility to accommodate children when the weather was challenging to be outdoors.
Construction began in the fall of 2022 and was completed in the fall of 2023. Our Playmates Learning Center program had also expanded and we needed a space for the children in our Out of School Time Program. In December of 2023, we were approved as aLicensed Child Care Center which operates from September through June.
Our new facility can accommodate 127 people seated at tables and 273 standing. As this large space was only active during the morning and afternoon Monday through Friday, we realized that it could also serve as an event center for birthday parties, weddings and any kind of gathering that would benefit families and businesses in our local area. We have many projects to create to benefit the families in Sandown and our surrounding towns. Therefore, if you are planning an event and need a great place to gather, the Sandlot Event Center is available for you.
